VPP - Fire UP - Vocational Pathways Program, Newcastle

Girls on Fire is offering students the chance to participate in a 9-week Vocational Pathways Program, designed to help young women (ages 14-19) develop essential skills and earn nationally recognised units of competency. Starting Term 1, 2026, the program will run one day per week at the Lake Macquarie Rural Fire Service Fire Control Centre (Cameron Park) from March 5 to May 14, 2025. Students will gain hands-on experience, receive mentorship from industry professionals, and explore career pathways in the fire and emergency services sector. This program is a unique opportunity to empower students, build confidence, and inspire future leaders. Teachers and students can register their interest through the Event Registration Page. We’d love to have you involved!

Melbourne Girls on Fire Documentary Event
