🔥 Girls on Fire Australia: Igniting Potential, Empowering Futures
Girls on Fire Campbelltown will be hosted at the Kemps Creek RFS Training
Centre. The 1-day program will form part of NAIDOC Week celebrations, a time
dedicated to honouring the rich history, vibrant culture, and significant
achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
This year's NAIDOC theme, "Keep the Fire Burning! Blak, Loud &
Proud," resonates deeply with the spirit of our program. This theme
celebrates the enduring strength and vitality of First Nations culture, with
fire symbolising the profound connection to Country, community, and the rich
tapestry of traditions that define Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander
peoples.
We are excited to have students from the Campbelltown area join us for a day
of empowerment, education, and inspiration. Today’s program is not only about
acquiring firefighting and emergency response skills but also about building a
sense of community, leadership, and resilience among young women.
Throughout the day, you will engage in a variety of activities designed to
challenge and inspire you. From fire safety drills and team-building exercises
to leadership workshops, each session is crafted to empower you with valuable
skills and knowledge.
