Fire and Resilience Program - Bangholme VIC

Join us for a day of firefighting and emergency management fun in Bangholme, Victoria – July 9!

Come along for an action-packed, hands-on experience at the Girls Fire & Resilience Camp in Bangholme this July. Open to the public, this dynamic day is perfect for young people aged 14 to 19 who want to build new skills, try something different, and learn how to support their communities in times of emergency.

Proudly supported by our principal sponsor NAB and the NAB Foundation, and delivered in association with CFA Victoria, the day is also a great team-building experience for NAB staff to get involved and join the fun as volunteers. And/or for your teens to come along and discover the ins and outs of disaster preparedness, prevention, management, and recovery.

Participants will step into the world of fire and emergency services through practical group activities and simulations, guided by experienced emergency service personnel, including firefighters and community volunteers. The program is designed to foster confidence, resilience, and leadership in a safe, inclusive environment, especially welcoming young women from First Nations and culturally and gender diverse backgrounds.

It’s more than just a camp! It’s an invitation to challenge yourself, connect with others, and discover how you can make a real impact.
